Chemical Loading Arms

 

The SVT Terra-Komplex loading arm is specially suited for the transfer of mineral oil products. It is equipped with a mechanically operated quick acting valve with delayed closing time.

 

Types:

 

The parts below the bottom swivel joint are in steel, the other parts are in aluminium.
Different construction types are available.

Nominal Bores:

  • DN 80
  • DN 100
  • DN 150

The top-loading station has been developed for safe and quick loading of rail cars and tank trucks, draining tanks and containers.

The above figure shows a typical loading station for rail and road tankers a loading platform comprising of Terra-Komplex loading arms for easy servicing of multi-chamber tankers and folding stairs.

 

General

 

Loading arms for mineral oil products Gasoline are equipped with a mechanically operated quick acting valve, are perfectly balanced and mounted with space saving spring power pack.

 

 

Working Range-Dimensions

 

The loading arm Terra-Simplex, model Gasoline, is an inexpensive design, specially suited for the handling of road and rail tankers. The arm lengths E and G cover a large working range and are ideal values based on our many years' experience. These lengths can, however, be adapted to suit special requirements.

 

Swivel Joints

 

Tried and tested swivel joints for every application and every type of product are available.

All swivel joint seals which are in contact with the product will be determined to meet the mechanical and chemical requirements.

 

Variations

 

All models have a large number of possible variations, e.g.

  • drop pipe with an outlet which is either straight, 45° cut-off or flanged.
  • installation of additional swivel joints in lengths E and G.
  • installation of shut off valves, quick acting loading valves in any position.
  • attachment of accessories, e.g. suction hood, overflow safety cut-off and vapour return line.
