Mobile Wheel & Chassis Bath

Outline of Wash

Completely mobile steel ‘Wheel & Chassis Bath’ wash, with twin axles and draw bar, can be moved by tractor without need for articulated truck and trailer to move from site to site.

40 ft long, 9.5 ft wide and 3 ft deep, suitable for articulated trucks and dumper trucks. Heavy duty 6 mm plate steel with painted finish

Internal angled steel ramps in the bath to agitate and manipulate the tyres. Angle of thirty degrees internally for 18.5 foot levelling out for 3 ft and exit ramp out of bath at thirty degrees similar to entry.

Angled floor assists with the settlement silt into sump area.

A 3 ft wide and 1 ft deep sump with hinged grating allows silt to flow into the bottom of the bath to settle. The hinged grating can be opened to allow the sump to be cleaned by a mechanical digger thus allowing quick and easy cleaning.

Installation is simple, the area where wash is to be located is excavated approx 1 metre deep, wheels are removed from the bath and inserted into hole and back filled. Gravel or concrete ramps to be made for entry and exit.

Mobile Wheel & Chassis Wash Washman FX1400D

This is a completely mobile unit, consisting of a steel platform, ramps on entry and exit, containerised tanks and control room and water recycling.

• No civil works or costs – a 1.3M deep X 1.2M square hole for the sump tank. The platform and water recycling tank are surface mounted, making relocation simple

System consists of:

• Galvanised steel entry and exit ramps with guide rail
• 6 meter galvanised wash platform, 12.6 metres including ramps with 2.5 meter side screens, cleaning booms bottom and sides
• Kubota 33 hp water cooled diesel engine. Self cleaning jet in sump to flush soil into the collecting tank
• 1400 litres of water per minute at 6 bar (87 psi)
• Water recycling system consisting of, tower compartment, intermediate tank, final clean water tank, pump, valves, interconnecting pipe sets, etc.
• Control room to house all electrics, pumps, air compressor, etc. Control room and water recycling system is housed in the one 20 ft container.
• Frost protection to flush out pipes when temperature reaches 2 degrees Celsius
• System is automatically operated when a truck enters the wash and automatically shuts off when leaving exiting the wash.
