Liquid Feeding
Liquid feeding systems from SKIOLD makes effective feeding advanced without being complicated. We have a number of solutions from a simple standard system with only one mixer to more advanced systems and multiphase systems with several mixers and feeding tanks.
Our liquid feeding system is constructed to meet the demands of a modern pig production, where especially operational reliability, accuracy and efficiency are paramount. The systems are designed according to customer needs. One of our key issues is precise feeding – also in farrowing barns. The concept has been refined in order to differentiate the afterflow time. This means accurate dosing when needed, for example in farrowing barns with 3-5 daily feedings.
Another key issue is residue free feeding. This means that clean water is always present in the pipes between the feedings ensuring fresh feed for the pigs which is especially important in farrowing barns and weaner area. Production data is accumulated in the computer and can be transferred to management programs. The computer can also control milling and feed production systems.
